WELL WOMAN EXAMINATIONS AND PAP SMEARS
Well Woman Examinations are a proactive way for you and your doctor to maintain your good health by identifying risk factors, discussing lifestyle choices, and catching potential problems before they become serious issues. You can expect to talk about contraception and sexual health, receive age- or circumstance-appropriate physical exams and tests, and talk with your physician about anything that concerns you. And you can be sure we use the most advanced assessment techniques to optimize the accuracy of your tests.
COMPLETE GYNECOLOGICAL CARE
HIGH RISK PREGNANCY
It's a fact: women who receive early and regular prenatal care are more likely to have healthier babies. If your doctor identifies yours as a high-risk pregnancy, it's even more critical that you get regular, specialized care. In addition to careful monitoring to catch issues before they become problems, your doctor may recommend counseling in nutrition, exercise, stress management and other topics. And if after the birth you or your baby requires specialized care, your physician will help you learn to attend to your own needs while you attend to the needs of your newborn.
SURGERY OPTIONS
Surgery is often viewed as the last option for correcting health care problems. When medically necessary, our physicians perform surgical procedures either in our office suite or at the Baylor Medical Center of Carrollton hospital facility.

An ultrasound scan is a safe, non-invasive medical test used to evaluate the status of an unborn fetus and to diagnose diseases of the organs and blood vessels. At our practice, a registered professional sonographer will conduct your exam, and afterwards, the results will be reviewed and interpreted by your physician and later discussed with you.
Midlife Health is a relatively new concept in health care, focusing on a growing population of women 40 years of age and over. Our staff specializes in all facets of midlife health. Your routine gynecological care will focus on cancer screening, breast disease, treatment for mental health and peri-menopausal symptoms, and more. Your doctor will assess and discuss with you the benefits of maintaining good health. You'll be counseled in preventive nutrition, if you wish, to mitigate risk factors for heart disease and osteoporosis. And you'll be screened and tevaluated for troublesome midlife health issues such as urinary incontinence and pelvic floor dysfunction.
